This covers the inner gold area, the chrome edge will remain exposed.

Product Installation Instructions
General suggestions for the installation:
1. We recommend washing the entire car first. Next, clean the application areas (badges, indents, etc…) with rubbing alcohol several times to remove any other oil or dirt. Q-Tips help with cleaning out crevices. Be sure there is no alcohol or water on the badge during the decal application.
2. For best results, work in a relatively warm, dry area and allow the working surface to change to the room temperature before application. It's recommended to work in 50 ° F or warmer) temperatures.
Product-specific recommendations:
Rear Bowtie Overlay
• The decal is sandwiched between the mask (clear cover) and the white backing. Place the decal upside down and carefully pull away the white backing leaving the decal and the masking.
• Holding the masking, align the decal over the gold portion of the rear bowtie emblem, being careful not to let the decal touch the emblem until you are ready to apply.
• Align the top corners, and the top straight edge of the left and right “wings.”
• Once you are sure of its position, press in place starting at the middle and working out toward the edges (this reduces/removes air bubbles). Carefully peel away the masking and press on the decal.
